1. 能够听、说、读、写本课时的单词或短语：crossing, turn left, turn right, go straight.2. 能熟练的利用所学内容为别人进行简单的指路。
教学重、难点
重点：四会掌握单词或短语：crossing, turn left, turn right, go straight.难点：四会单词的正确书写和crossing，straight的发音
教 学 过 程
Step 1 Warming up 课前播放歌曲Where is the hospital , 渲染课堂学习的气氛Step 2 Revision1.复习巩固方位介词和地点名词。2.free talk ：教师出示一幅某地的平面图。引导学生根据图片内容进行问答。Step 3 Presentation and drill 1.教授新单词crossing, turn left, turn right, go straight.T：出示图片问“What’s this ”SS: 十字路口T: Yes,crossing 同样的方法讲授其它新单词2.游戏：快速反应，（老师说汉语，学生说英语）（通过游戏检查学生对新单词的掌握情况）3.老师说口令学生做动作Step 4 Practice1. 教师呈现Let’s learn的挂图，播放录音，让学生听音正音。并特别强调Italian restaurant 的读音。利用不同的方式操练让学生熟读这个短语。2. 让学生利用Let’s learn 中的对话示例，替换关键词进行对话3. Be a tour guideNow, we are in front of Tian’anmen. Go straight and you can see the Palace Museum. 教师教读句子。然后让学生在小组内讨论如何到达其他地点。教师可以适当拓展附近其他的景点。4.Pair work教师出示一张平面图，学生进行对话Step 5 SummaryWords: hospital, cinema, post office, science museum,bookstoreSentences: Where is the cinema It’s next to the bookstore. 为了让学生熟记本单元的3个方向词turn left, turn right, go street我把它们编成一首歌谣：left,left,turn left; right, right, turn right, go, go, go straight. 这三句每一句都是四拍，很有节奏感，而且辅助于动作，琅琅上口，学生便于识记，教学效果不错。 Chant的目的在于巩固三个方向，为方位的描述打下基础。另外，在教学中，采用游戏、表演等活动形式 ，有利于充分调动学生的学习积极性，有利于学生积极主动参与到课堂教学的各类活动中去.
