由“She decided to wait for the butterfly to come out of the cocoon.” 故选A。
由“One day, a little girl ... got stuck (卡住了) .”
wake up醒来;get out出来;go in进去;fly down空降。由“She went home and got a pair of scissors. As she cut open the cocoon, the butterfly then easily came out.”

However然而;But但是;So所以;Although虽然。由“As she cut open the cocoon, the butterfly then easily came out. ... , its body was swollen (肿大的) and its wings were very small.” 故选A。

由后文“and for the rest of its life, it could only move around ... a large body and little wings.” 故选A。
with和;without没有;by旁边;in在…… 故选A。
由前文“The butterfly was ... to fly, and for the rest of its life, it could only move around ... a large body and little wings.”
get smaller变得更小;get small变小;get weaker变得更虚弱;get weak变得虚弱。由“ its wings to get stronger”可知,此处应用比较级与它对应,构成its body to get smaller。故选A。
由“When the butterfly broke free of its cocoon by itself, it was time for its body to ... and its wings to get stronger. So it could fly soon.”
