Becoming a sailor had long been my dream but my parents were against it. I loved them so much that I once put my dream aside. However, about a year later, my friend invited me to join in the sail to London again and I agreed this time.
On September 1st, 1651, I started my first sail. A few days later, the ship went up and down because of a strong wind. “If I could live, I will go home and never go to sea again.” I said to myself. The next day, the wind dropped and the sea was peaceful again. My friend Bob laughed at what I did yesterday. Then I decided not to go home because I didn’t want my friend and family to laugh at me!
After landing on London for some time, I left for Guinea in Africa with a captain. Everything went well first but when we were near the Canary Islands, a pirate ship came from Turkey came after us. After a long and hard fight, we became slaves (奴隶) of these famous thieves of the sea at that time. At first, they wanted to sell us in the market.
