基数词和序数词
基数词：是指表示数目、数量的多少的词 1～10的基数词：one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
在11～19的基数词中，除了eleven, twelve, thirteen, fifteen, eighteen为特殊形式以外，fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, nineteen都是在其个位数后添加后缀-teen构成
在21～99 整数几十的基数词中，除了twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, eighty为特殊形式以外，sixty, seventy, ninety都是在其个位数后添加后缀-ty构成。表示几十几时，在几十和个位基数词之间添加连字符“-” 。如：21 twenty-one, 76 seventy-six

序数词：是指表示事物的先后顺序的数词，常与定冠词the连用 第一至第十九序数词：其中first, second, third, fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth为特殊形式，其他的序数词都是在其对应的基数词后面添加-th序数词构成。如：six→sixth, nineteen→nineteenth
第二十至第九十九序数词：整数第几十的形式先由其对应的基数词改结尾字母y为i，再加-eth构成，如：twenty→twentieth，thirty→thirtieth等。表示第几十几时，用几十的基数词形式加上连字符“-”和个位数的序数词形式一起表示，如：thirty-first 第三十一, fifty-sixth 第五十六, seventy-third 第七十三, ninety-ninth 第九十九
基数词变序数词的口诀 基变序，有规律，一、二、三，特殊记；th从四起，八去t，九去e， f来把ve替，y结尾变ie, 后跟th莫忘记；若想表示几十几，只变个位就可以！
【注意】 序数词的用法
1.序数词可以用来表示顺序、编号等，但要放在名词前面。如：the second picture第二幅图
2.序数词可以表示“几月几日”中的“几日”。如：February 11th 2月11日
3.序数词前面通常要使用定冠词the，但当序数词前面有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格修饰时，不能用the。如：
That is the fourth book. 那是第四本书。
This is Mike’s twelfth birthday. 这是迈克的第十二个生日。
