教材分析
本节课是六年级上册第五单元，单元话题是“What does he do？”，词汇和句型都是与职业有关，学生在四年级已经学习过职业的单词,如doctor，nurse，farmer，cook，以及职业的问答What's ...’s job？He/ She is a...本单元的每一部分内容层层递进，先学习询问他人的职业，然后询问在哪里上班，怎么去上班，最后引导学生要设定自己理想的职业。本节课围绕职业体验营的展开话题，学习单词和短语 if，reporter, use, type, secretary, university，be good at，学习兴趣爱好和技能的表达，提高学生的学习积极性，鼓励学生努力学习，实现自己的理想。
学情分析
授课对象的是六年级学生，经过五年的英语学习，他们已能够听懂老师的基本指令并形成较好的英语学习习惯，大多数的学生掌握并积累了一定的词汇、句型，以及语法知识，具备了基本的英语听、说、读、写技能。他们在之前已经掌握一些职业的单词以及句型，为本课教学奠定了基础。
