学情分析 After more than a year’s English study in middle school, students have got a certain basic knowledge of English. And they have developed the learning abilities of independence, cooperation and exploration. This lesson talks about Shenzhen and our hometown, which is a familiar topic for students. The topic is easy to understand and students will be willing to involve themselves in the lesson.
教学目标 To understand the conversation about the comparison of two cities.To talk about and compare different cities or places.To cultivate students' awareness of their love for their home town.
重难点 To learn some words and expressions.To master the rules of comparative adjectives (-er).To master the structure of comparative degree.
过程与方法 To lead Ss to read creatively by PWP approach.To activate Ss’ imagination step by step.
情感态度价值观 To help Ss to be aware of how to deal with thefts or some other emergencies.
