一、教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)、掌握序数词“第七——第十二”,月份“七月——十二月”等单词的表达法(August, September, November, seventh, July, eighth, ninth, October. )
(2)、掌握句型:---When is your birthday ---My birthday is ...
2. 能力目标:
(1)、能在活动中互助合作、体验合作愉快的精神,发展合作精神。
(2)、能运用所学的语言知识在创设的情境中进行熟练的交际,并在此基础上能将其应用于日常生活之中。
(3)、通过调查活动、信息收集整理等活动培养学生的交际能力和归纳、总结信息的能力。

(1)、激发学生学习英语的兴趣,帮助学生树立学好英语的信心,增强学生的参与意识;

1.播放生日快乐歌,让学生在情趣中进入课堂。(也可事先进行调查,看有哪位学生最近过生日的,让全班唱歌送祝福。when is your birthday (写出标题)

August、 September、 October、 November、 December月份是专有名词,首字母大写,月份可以用缩写,
January---Jan.February---Feb.March---Mar. April---Apr.
June---Jun.July---Jul.August---Aug.September---Sept./Sep.October---Oct.November---Nov.December---Dec.
2. 复习数字引入序数词的学习(第1至第12)
首先让学生自己找出规律,再由教师总结,举出特殊例子,如下:
one-first two-second three- third five- fifth eight- eighth nine–ninth twelve-twelfth
得出规则:小窍门
一二 三要全变,其余th加后边;八去t,九去e,字母f代ve;
ty变成tie,然后再加th;若是碰到几十几,只变个位就可以
序数词表顺序,前面需加定冠词(the).
