一、教学目标
1. 知识目标：
（1）、掌握序数词“第七——第十二”，月份“七月——十二月”等单词的表达法（August, September, November, seventh, July, eighth, ninth, October. ）
（2）、掌握句型：---When is your birthday ---My birthday is ...
2. 能力目标：
（1）、能在活动中互助合作、体验合作愉快的精神，发展合作精神。
（2）、能运用所学的语言知识在创设的情境中进行熟练的交际，并在此基础上能将其应用于日常生活之中。
（3）、通过调查活动、信息收集整理等活动培养学生的交际能力和归纳、总结信息的能力。

1.播放生日快乐歌，让学生在情趣中进入课堂。（也可事先进行调查，看有哪位学生最近过生日的，让全班唱歌送祝福。when is your birthday (写出标题)

August、 September、 October、 November、 December月份是专有名词，首字母大写，月份可以用缩写，
January---Jan.February---Feb.March---Mar. April---Apr.
June---Jun.July---Jul.August---Aug.September---Sept./Sep.October---Oct.November---Nov.December---Dec.
2. 复习数字引入序数词的学习（第1至第12）
首先让学生自己找出规律，再由教师总结，举出特殊例子，如下：
one-first two-second three- third five- fifth eight- eighth nine–ninth twelve-twelfth
得出规则：小窍门
一二 三要全变,其余th加后边;八去t，九去e，字母f代ve;
ty变成tie，然后再加th;若是碰到几十几，只变个位就可以
序数词表顺序，前面需加定冠词(the).
