sth happen to sb(sth) 某人（物）出……事/发生情况
eg: Many things have happened to us these years.
An car accident happened to Danny last Monday.

拓展:1) happen 还可以表示“碰巧，恰好”，常用于以下结构： sb happen to do sth 某人碰巧做某事
