介词是一种用来表示词与词、词与句之间的关系的虚词，在句子中不能单独作成分。介词后面一般有名词代词或相当于名词的其他词类，短语或从句作它的宾语。介词和它的宾语构成介词词组，在句中作状语、表语、补语或介词宾语。介词可以分为时间介词、地点介词、方式介词、原因介词和其他介词。
介词是英语中最活跃的词类之一，特别是一些常用介词的搭配力特别强，可以用来表示各种不同的意思。
【知识点1】介词的分类
常用介词按词义分为时间介词、地点介词、方位介词、方式介词、原因介词等。
介词类别
表示地点（包括动向） about, above, across, after, along, among, around, at, before, behind, below, beneath, beside, between, beyond, by, down, from, in, into, near, off, on, over, through, to, towards, under, up, upon, with, without, within
表示时间 at, in, on, by, after, before, since, for, during, within, throughout, over, until/till, between
表示原因 because of, owing to, due to, for, with
表示方式、方法或手段 by, in, with
表示“除...外” except, besides, but, except for
表示“数量” about, around, over
表示“关于”的 on, about
表示“所属”“部分与整体关系” of
本章主要学习以下三部分内容：时间介词、地点介词，其他常用介词。
【知识点2】时间介词
本课我们重点学习at, on, in这三个易混淆的时间介词。
at用于具体的、很短的时间
用于具体的钟点前
at 9:00在九点钟 at 4:30在四点半 at seven o’clock在七点钟
用于很短的时间前
at noon 在中午 at midnight 在半夜 at night 在夜间
用于三餐前
at breakfast 在早餐时 at lunch 在午餐时
用于某些固定搭配中
at the moment 此刻 at the beginning 开始
at the end 最后 at that/this time 在那/这个时候
on用于某天或某几天
用在某一天
on April 20th on September
在4月20日 1st 在9月1日
on the morning of...在...早上 on a sunny day 在一个阳光明媚的日子
用在星期前
on Friday 在周五 on Sunday morning 在周日早上
on weekends 在周末 on weekdays 在工作日
on the afternoon of Monday 在周一下午
用于节假日前
on National Day 在国庆节 on Christmas Eve 在圣诞节前夕
