But I told my parents I was studying in my own room. So I failed in the English competition. As a result,I got the last place in the exam.
Losing the competition made me sad and nervous. I was scared because my parents were very strict with me. I was afraid they punished me. However, they encourged me instead of punishing me. I cried. Later, I made a promise that I would study hard. Ever since then, I have studied hard.
