In China, when you meet people for the first time, you’re expected to shake hands. One important thing is that you should learn how to behave at the dinner table. For example, you’re supposed to let the old eat first if there are old people at the table. Another example is that you’re not supposed to stick your chopsticks into your food. Also, it’s rude to point at anyone with your chopsticks. And you shouldn’t make any noise while you are eating. If you go to a party, you are expected to be on time. It’s important to be on time.
