① The sun shines on the sea, rivers, and lakes.
② Water can go up into the air and becomes part of it. We call the water in the air water vapour (蒸汽). The warm water vapour rises. The higher it goes, the cooler it gets.
③ When water vapour cools, it forms clouds.
④ Rain falls from the clouds. Water from the rain runs into the sea, rivers, and lakes.
