Recently I have explored(探索) Melbourne, a city where I lived for near y thirty years. I seldom had time to enjoy many of its best things. It was really a wonderful experience.
First, I went to the Potter Gallery. It has many great works of Australian art. Then I took a short walk over the Prince's Bridge and came to the Melbourne Arts Center. It includes performing arts theaters and the National Gallery of Victoria, for lots of exhibitions(展览品 ) and a fantastic collection of international art. I was happy to see so many nice things in both the Potter Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria for free.
After that I got to the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The 1956 Olympics was held here. It's also one of the biggest sports fields in Australia and one of the sports fields which has the most sports events. I crossed the bridge over the railway line and saw the Melbourne Tennis Center, the home to the Australian Open (澳大利亚网球公开赛）.
Before the trip was finished, I visited the Victoria Market. I ate some street food and bought some souvenirs. They were really cheap and nice. It is really a great place for visitors to know Melbourne's residents（居民） going about their lives.
Sometimes you don't need to go far from home to travel. There are always beautiful things around you but you don't notice them. Just stop and then you can see their beauties.
