It is helpful to think about the following before you take a trip.
Choose where you want to go. When people think to themselves, “I want to take a trip. Usually they have a place in mind: Where’s yours Try to make it as specific as possible。” “London” is a lot easier to plan than “England”.
Keep in mind weather conditions, kinds of activity for fun(beaches, culture, shopping, . . . ). What clothes are right for you What is needed there
Choose when you want to go. This will be decided by a number of things, but mostly your plan.
*How much time can you take off work
*Do you want to go during the off-season or while tourism is in high season The off-season will offer discounts (打折), but it will also mean closed doors.
*When it comes to weather, do you want to travel in winter or the rainy season How about when it’s hot
* Book flights and hotels. Once you’re exactly sure of where, when and how you want to go, book your flight and hotel. For flights, book around two months out. And don’t wait till the last minute for your hotels, either you don’t want them to be booked or almost booked, because then prices rise quickly.
Pack light. No one has ever said to themselves while on vacation, “I’m so glad I packed all my things. “ Leave space for shopping and buying souvenirs. Moreover, travelling with lots of things restricts (限制)your movement and causes discomfort—you’ll be moving around a lot, and it’ll only be heavy and difficult to carry. Only pack what you need.

Art education not only happens in classrooms, it can also take place in museums, parks or any place that can boost (激发) children’s sensibility (感受力) and imagination.
Children’s art festivals might be such perfect places. The iSTART Children’s Art Festival is one of China’s most well-known festivals of this kind. The 7th iSTART lasted from Aug 7th to Oct 24th, 2021. It was held by the LUXELAKES A4 Art Museum in Chengdu, but included more than 100 activities in around 20 Chinese cities.
This year’s theme of iSTART is “1001 Game School”. The idea is to encourage children to “play together and create together” through games, according to the curator (负责人) Li Jie. For example, a team of kids designed the cultures, laws and landforms (地形地貌) of four planets and programmed them into a computer game. A family game called “pa dad shu (Climbing on dad as a tree)” calls for dads to spend more quality time their kids.
At children’s festivals, there are usually shows of kids’ art works, workshops (工作坊) and forums (论坛) for kids, parents and artists. But a children’s art festival is more than just those activities, according to Li.
His team once worked with researchers to encourage blind children to touch things, then imagine and draw. For years, they have also gone to rural and left-behind areas to offer art courses. Li has also seen some children take part in iSTART time and time again.
“That’s the special thing about a children’s art festival,” said Li. “It’s not a competition, or a celebration that happens once a year. A good children’s art festival keeps kids company (陪伴), letting them know that they’re able to achieve something.”
40.How long does the 7th iSTART Children’s Art Festival last
A.For about 20 days. B.For about 75 days.

A.Li Jie’s team. B.The researchers.
