一、教学目标
1.New words: Wednesday Thursday.
2.Three skill drill:
What day is today
It’s Wednesday.
3.New sentences:
Mr Black will come to our school today.

二、重难点
1.能在真实情境中运用What day is today 句式。
2.理解并能运用句型。Mr Black will come to our school today.
3.正确听说读写四会单词。
三、学情分析
本课是第四单元第三课，在本课之前，学生已有了“How many……do you及when do you have……lesson”的知识储备，因此本课对话内容对于学生来说比较好理解。What day is today句型是学生生活中经常要说到的话题，总之本课的内容贴近学生生活，学生感兴趣，有利于学生掌握、交流。
四、教学过程：
Warm-up
1.Ask and answer(出示课件5个数字代表5个问题，让学生选择他要回答问题的数字，以此来复习How many……When……等句型为后文的学习运用做好铺垫。)
2.Learn the new words and the drill.
(1)由第一环节设置的问题引出单词Wednesday及句型What day is today.
(2)拼读并书写单词
(3)出示课件日历（只给出星期单词的缩写）操练What day is today It’s……
(4)学习单词 Thursday.
(5)拼读并书写
(6)小组合作：抽取星期单词卡片一人问What day is today 三人抢答。
3.出示新课表巩固练习单词Wednesday, Thursday并引出新句子How many English lessons do you have in a week
(1)看课表练习。When do you have……lessons.
We have … lessons on____
(2)学习新句式How many English lessons do you have in a week
(3)练习：How many…lessons do you have in a week 句式。
(4)Make up short dialogues using the sentences:
How many…lessons do you have in a week
When do you have……lessons.
4.创设情景学习Mr black will come to our school today.
(1) 观看微课
Questions: Who will come to our school today
Answers: Uncle Xi will come to our school today
Fu Yuan Hui will come to our school today
Deng Chao will come to our school today
5.观看课件学习课文
Show the video to learn the dialogue.
Questions: Who will come to Kate’s school.
How many English lessons do they have in a week

6.Read and act out the dialogue.
