Listen to the tape and show some pictures about the new words and phrases, let students tell the Chinese meaning of them .
4. Listen and match the pictures with the questions on page p61.
5. Read the lesson and answer the questions..

6. Language notes
① I am going to bring some donuts for everybody.我打算给每个人带一些面包圈。
everybody pron. 每人；人人
everybody=everyone，强调整体概念，其反义词是nobody或no one。作主语时，其谓语动词用单数形式。
Everybody is ready for the test. 每个人都在准备考试。
② take a bus “乘公共汽车”表示乘某种交通工具还可以用“介词by+ 交通工具”，交通工具前不用加任何冠词。如果交通工具前有冠词或物主代词修饰时，不用介词by而用介词on或in。
I go to school by bike. = I go to school on my bike.

It’s … away from …从……到……有多长时间(或多远距离)。
My home is half a kilometre away from here. 我家离这儿有半公里。
