教学内容分析:Lesson 36 is the last lesson of unit 6.Functions: talking about seasons and activities . The lesson is easy for the students to learn, because they have learned much knowledge about different seasons.
学情分析:All the students have learned many English words,phrases and sentences. Most of them can say and express their thoughts.
教学目标:
1. Master the new words: everywhere, strawberry
2. Master the key phrases and sentences.
3. Understand and retell the text.
4. Learn some sentences about spring, and write a composition about different season。
教学重点与难点:
1、重点 :Master some sentences about the seasons especially spring。
2:难点: Describe spring.
教学方法与手段:多媒体,录音机
教学流程:
Greetings and proverbs---lead into the new lesson---Show the teaching aims----- words----text listening and answering the questions---- Find out the sentences and check out---retell the text ---talk about spring---make a dialogue.
教学过程:(Teaching procedure)
Step1. Greetings and proverbs
Knowledge is power; Where there is a will, there is a way;
N0 pains,No gains!Actions speak louder than words.
Then learn two new proverbs:
A year’s plan starts spring
A single flower doesn’t make a spring
My purpose is to attract the students’attention and arouse their interest of study.
Step 2:lead into the new lesson:
a. How many seasons are there in a year ? Four.
b. What are they ? They are spring,summer,autumn and winter.
c.What season is now ?Spring.
d.Do you like season? Yes.
Lead into the subject: Lesson 36 Spring in China.
Step3. Learn the new words:
1. everywhere adv. 到处,处处
Water is everywhere in the room.
We can see beautiful flowers everywhere.
.anywhere adv.任何地方,无论何处
You can find donuts anywhere in Canada
. somewhere adv. 在某处
I put my book somewhere in the room
. everything 一切事物
Everything looks new and fresh
.everybody/everyone 每人,人人
Everyone/Everybody is here. Let's start out class
2. strawberry n. 草莓
Show two pictures about it, ask the students to say the word and make sentences. My purpose is to let the students are interested in English.
Step4 Listen and answer
Show the questions on the screen:
1. What makes the trees and grass green
2. What are they going to pick in the countryside
Then give the students two minutes to listen to the tap and answer the questions. My purpose is to train the students’ listening ability.
Step5 Read and answer
Show the questions on the screen:
What is spring like in Li Ming’s city
Where is Li Ming going with his parents
What are they going to do there
Where is Li Ming’s house
Ask the students to read the text loudly, then finish all the questions, write the answers on the papers by themselves. My purpose is to let them understand the text well.
Step6. Find out and underline
Show the Chinese of the important sentences on the screen:
1.这是一个可爱的季节。(lovely)
2.温度既不太热也不太冷。(not too …or too…)
3.雨水和阳光再次让树和草变绿。(make)
4.美丽的花到处都是而且一切看起来都是新鲜的。(everywhere …everything)
5.加拿大的春天什么样?(what’s…..like)
6.我们打算去摘草莓和野餐。(pick)
7.我们将待在户外、享受美好的天气(stay outside)
8.让我展示给你中国的春天(let ….do)
9.这有一张我在我家附近的公园的照片(a picture of)
Let them find them and underline them on the book, then read and remember them in three or five minutes. My purpose is to make the students master the phrases, sentences and understand the text.
Step7 Check yourself
Check the students about the sentences.
Step8 show the language about “make”.
Let the students read the sentences , and let them say the use of the word “make”. Then do several questions to check them .
Step9 Retell the text
Li Ming sends an e____ to Jenny. The s_____ is about spring in China.
Now it’s s____ in China. Li Ming likes the ____ season. The t__________ is ___________.It always makes all the trees and grass g____. The flowers are__________. Everything is ___________!

My purpose is to make the students understand the text better.
Step10 Say spring: the teacher gives a picture of spring, and show some questions on the screen:
What season is it
What can you see/hear in spring
What’s the weather like in spring
What can you do
Ask the students to answer them. My purpose is to improve their speaking ability.
Step11 Talk different seasons in groups , and finish the dialogue with the structure:
1. A: What’s your favourite season B: My favourite season is____________________.
2.A: What’s the weather like in _____ B: It’s_________________
3. A: What can you do outside B: I like to………..
My purpose is to practice their speaking ability again.
Step12 Homework
