Recently we made a survey on How to spend weekends, we interviewed some Chinese students and American students. Here is the result.
40% of Chinese students will study at the weekend, like finishing their homework. While, there are a quarter of American students doing part-time jobs at the weekend, for example, they might work as salesmen at stores. 60 percent of Chinese students will spend their weekends watching TV and playing online games. Meanwhile, the number of American students who would like to take part in some voluntary work is up to 27%. They might do some cleaning for the environment. And About 48% of American students are interested in doing some sports to keep them healthy, such as playing football or swimming.
As far as I’m concerned, the activities of American students’ weekends are much more various than that of Chinese students’. I suppose that we had better take part in different kinds of activities so that we can enrich our daily life.

Group Activities Work
Group activities work help us study English better. In English class, we often have group activities, but how can the activities help us study English better First, we must make it clear what the task is for each group and how it should be done. Second, each group member must play a different role and the whole group should cooperate well. At the same time, teachers should offer necessary help to each group during activities. Finally, the activity results must be shared in class because they are our achievements. The groups are supposed to comment on each other so that we can know our own shortcomings. I like group activity work. In this way, we will become better.
