在句中充当表语的从句叫表语从句,它位于系动词之后。可以接表语从句的系动

(1)当主句的主语是advice、suggestion、order、command、request、requirement
等表示建议、命令或要求的名词时,表语从句中常用虚拟语气,即谓语动词用
“⑥       ”的形式,其中should可以省略。
(2)当表语从句的引导词是as if或as though 时,后面的表语从句如果表示假设的情
况,也需使用虚拟语气,对现在的虚拟用⑦      ;对过去的虚拟用过去完
成时。如果表示事实或很可能是事实,则不用虚拟语气。

In a study of 33 years of trends in Body Mass Index (体重指数) across 200 countries, the scientists found that people worldwide are getting heavier  1  that most of the rise is due to gains in BMI in rural areas.
