强调句型
I met Tom in the park last Sunday.
强调句型由“It is/was+被强调部分+that+其他成分”构成，可以强调主语、宾语、状语等。如果强调的是指人的名词或代词，that也可以用who来替换。去掉“It is/was”和“that”句子仍然成立。
1. It was I that/who met Tom in the park last Sunday.
2. It was Tom that I met in the park last Sunday.
3. It was in the park that I met Tom last Sunday.
4. It was last Sunday that I met Tom in the park.
强调句型的疑问句
强调句型的一般疑问句由“Is/Was it+被强调部分+that+其他成分”构成。特殊疑问句由“特殊疑问词+ is/was it + that +其他成分”构成。
1. Was it Tom that you met in the park last Sunday
2. Who was it that you met in the park last Sunday
3. Was it last Sunday that you met Tom in the park
4. When was it that you met Tom in the park
强调句型用在宾语从句中
1. I don’t know who it was that you met in the park last Sunday.
2. Can you tell me when it was that you met Tom in the park
强调句型的特殊疑问句作宾语从句时，要用陈述语序，即“特殊疑问词 + it is/was + that+其他成分”。
含有not…until…的强调句型
I didn’t realize he was a famous singer until he took off his dark
glasses.
含有not…until…的强调句型由“It is/was not until +被强调部分+that+其他成分”构成。其中 until 不能用 till 替换。
It was not until he took off his dark glasses that I realized he was
a famous singer.

With the intention of advocating and promoting the traditional culture, our school invited a craftsman to teach us how to make dough figurine.
On Friday morning, when the craftsman finally came to our class, we all felt excited and gave him a warm welcome by surrounding him a round of wild applause.
Firstly, the craftsman created a piece of dough and started to pinch with his warm hands. With our eyes wide open, we watched him in excitement and tried our best to memorize all the procedures. The dough figurine looked so vivid that we couldn’t wait to give it a go.
With the patient instructions of the craftsman, I made a horse figurine while Xiaoming accomplished his own—a pig figurine.
A happy instant always ends before you know it. All of us completed our own dough figurine, which was very meaningful, for this was the first time that we had made handicrafts on our own. Holding our own dough figurines, the craftsman and we took photos to capture this unforgettable moment.
From this experience, I realized it only took a small step to learn our traditional culture. It also took a small step to do a bit understanding of making dough figurine and to inherit our cultural treasure.
