地震逃生常识
做好防震准备
要避免地震的灾害,最有效的办法是依靠自己,以自己的力量做好预防灾害的准备。一般家庭常备的东西有粮食和饮水,以每人平均保存5天的份量为佳。另外再准备一些防灾用品,如防灾头巾、手电筒、急救药品、蜡烛、半导体收音机等以及一些逃生用具,如毛毯、便携式炊具、固体燃料等。
由于住宅不宽裕,人们总是最大限度地利用空间(如棚、架、搁板)。不过,由于地震的震动,搁板上放置的重物是很容易掉下来的。因此,平时放置东西要多加考虑。
人们对黑暗很难适应,这不仅仅是看不见,还在心理上增加了压力。因地震而停电是不奇怪的,黑暗中就是在自己的房间也很难分辨东西南北,所以手电筒随时带在身边,就不会有太多的恐惧了。
地震发生后,电视中断,电话不通,报纸停刊,信息来源完全被断绝。此时,只有小型的收音机可以获得源源不断的重要情报,从而可以更好地应付不断变化的情况。
当大地震平息后,首先感到困惑的是饮用水的问题。这种场合,水道断水是经常的事,城市中井水很少,所以在不知道什么时候发生地震的情况下,有必要每晚睡前准备一些应急的饮用水。
考虑到地震后的混乱情况,准备好三个月的现金花销是必要的。因为地震之后,银行、邮局等处往往取不出款。
人们总喜欢把急救用具藏在某一角落,或不起眼的地方。可是,这些东西在地震中又是必不可少的。因此,平时要把它们放在某一固定并且容易拿到的地方。
地震时,穿高跟鞋对避难百害而无一利。平时应穿或备用跑得快、耐用、平跟的棉鞋或运动鞋。拖鞋和草鞋都不合适,高跟鞋绝对不行。
如何逃生
地震具有突发性,使人措手不及,地震开始时,如果正在屋内,切勿试图冲出房屋,这样砸死的可能性极大。权宜之计是躲在坚固的床或桌下,倘若没有坚实的家具,应站在门口,门框多少有点保护作用。应远离窗户,因为窗玻璃可能震碎。
如在室外,不要靠近楼房、树木、电线杆或其他任何可能倒塌的高大建筑物。尽可能远离高大建筑物,跑到空地上去。为免地震时失去平衡,应躺在地上。倘若附近没有空地,应该暂时在门口躲避。
切勿躲在地窑、隧道或地下通道内,因为地震产生的碎石瓦砾会填满或堵塞出口。除非它们十分坚固,否则地道等本身也会震塌陷。
地震时,木结构的房子容易倾斜而致使房门打不开,这时就会眼睁睁地把命丢掉。所以,不管出不出门,首先打开房门是明智之举。
发生大地震时,搁板上的东西及书架上的书等可能往下掉。这时,保护头部是极其重要的。在紧急情况下可利用身边的棉坐垫、毛毯、枕头等物盖住头部,以免被砸伤。
即使在盛夏发生地震,裸体逃出房间也是不雅的,而且赤裸裸的身体容易被四处飞溅的火星、玻璃及金属碎片伤害。因此,外出避难时要穿上尽可能厚的棉衣和棉制的鞋袜,并且要避免穿易着火的化纤制品。
如在医院住院时碰到地震,钻进床下才是最好的策略。这样,可防止从天窗或头顶掉下物品而砸伤。
地震时,不要在道路上奔跑,这时所到之处都是飞泻而下的招牌、门窗等物品。因此,此时到危险场合最好能戴上一顶安全帽子之类的东西。
地震时,大桥也会震塌坠落河中,此时停车于桥上或躲避于桥下均是十分危险的。因此,如在桥上遇到地震,就应迅速离开桥身。
大地震有时发生在海底,这时会出现海啸。掀起的海浪,会急剧升高,靠近岸边的小舟就十分危险。此时,最好是迅速离开沙滩,远离浪高的海面,才算是安全的。
在公共场所遇到地震时,里面的人会因惊恐而导致拥挤,这是由于惊恐的人们找不到逃生的出口的缘故。这时需要的是镇静,定下心来寻找出口,不要乱跑乱窜。
防止次生灾害
要注意防止地震次生灾害。所谓地震次生灾害,主要是指地震后引起的水灾、火灾以及有毒气体蔓延等等。很多经验表明:次生灾害往往比地震本身造成的损失大得多。如何防止次生危害呢?
对工矿企业中的易燃、易爆、剧毒品,要严密监视,地震时,一旦发现剧毒品或易燃气体溢出,应立即组织抢救。
对于大型水库、堤坝等,要预先做好防震检查,发现问题及时加固。水库下游的居民,在地震发生时,要严密注视堤坝的安全,遇有险情,除组织力量抢救外,要迅速向安全地带转移。
大地震发生在山区,由于山崩塌方等,可能堵塞河道,遇到此种情况,要立即组织人员疏通,以免造成水灾。
在接到关于地震的预报以后,要立即有秩序地疏散,尽快离开房屋。人员疏散时,要避开高楼房、烟囱、高门脸、女儿墙、高围墙等,更不要在狭窄的胡同中停留。要避开高压电线、变压器,以防电杆或电线震断触电伤人。
在山区,还要远离悬崖陡壁,以免山崩、塌方时伤人。还应离开大水渠、河堤两岸,这些地方容易发生较大的地滑或塌陷。
逃生不忘灭火
由于地震带来的火灾而致死亡人数增至10倍以上。比起地震本身,地震后的火灾更可怕。因此,一旦发现稍有震动,首先要关掉液化气开关,消除火源。但经验告诉我们,当大地震发生时,人们往往没有时间,也不可能去顾及火源。
尽管如此,只要有可能的话,避难之际要设法关掉煤气总开关。由于强烈震动,煤气管有可能脱落。所以我们不得不考虑室内其它配管破损情况。
在工厂作业时,如遇上地震,危险性很大,在冲出工作场所避难前,首先要切断电源,消除火源,停止机器运转。否则,还在运转的机器连同工作人员会成为火灾的牺牲品。
因地震发生的火灾,当火势变强时,在空中可能会形成漩涡形,风向会千变万化。但火源总是固定不变的。看清火的源头,辨明火的燃烧方向后,再逆风而跑是最明智的。另外,地震过后外出时,切勿走近不大坚固的楼房,因为建筑物受地震摇撼后,随时可能倒塌。

大洪水
——《圣经故事》
在挪亚的日子降下的一场特大洪水,将地上的人和动物几乎灭尽,当年是公元前2370年。这是有史以来最大的一场洪水,是耶和华降下的,因为当时人类作恶多端,暴行遍及全地。义人挪亚一家八口,连同预先拣选的动物,进了一个巨大的方舟而得以生还。(创6:9-9:19;彼前3:20;见方舟;挪亚)
大洪水的规模
这场大洪水不是地区性的暴雨暴洪。事实上,圣经用来表示大洪水的希腊语是ka·ta·kly·smos′(卡塔克利斯莫),意思是大灾难。(路17:27,Rbi8脚注)地区性的洪水大概几天就退了,但圣经记载的大洪水却延续了一年,当中大部分时间是让洪水逐渐消退。如果只是一场地区性洪水,挪亚又何须花五六十年去建造一只巨大的方舟,体积达4万立方米(140万立方英尺)左右,好保存家人和一些动物的性命呢?如果只有部分地区受影响,挪亚又何须把“各样有血肉的活物”都带进方舟,每样带若干只,“好留种遍布全地”呢?(创6:19;7:3)显然,这是一场全球性的大洪水,规模空前绝后。“水势浩大,覆盖全地,普天下的高山都淹没了。洪水比山高出七米[22英尺],山岭都淹没了。”(创7:19,20)耶和华说:“在我面前,凡有血肉的都到了尽头”,上帝要把他“所造的众生都从地上除灭”。果然,“凡鼻孔有气息、有生命动力的活物,就是在陆地上生活的,全都死了。……只有挪亚和跟他一起在方舟里的,才能生还”。(创6:13;7:4,22,23)
水势浩大
据说,假使大气层中所有水气霎时间形成雨降下来,世界各地平均雨量只得2-9厘米(少于2英寸)。那么,挪亚日子的巨量雨水从哪里来呢?根据创世记,上帝对挪亚说:“我[耶和华]要降洪水[或‘天上的汪洋’;希伯来语mab·bul′马布]在地上”。(创6:17,Rbi8脚注)创世记第7章描述当时的情景,说:“浩瀚深渊的泉源尽都裂开,天上的水闸都打开了。”(创7:11)水势如此浩大,“普天下的高山都淹没了”。(创7:19)
“天上的汪洋”是从哪里来的呢?创世记叙述,耶和华在第二“日”造出天空(称为“天”),把水分开,天空以下有水,即海洋,天空以上也有水。(创1:6-8)自第二个创造“日”以来,天空以上一直有水,直到大洪水降下为止。使徒彼得也谈及这点,说:“凭着上帝的话语,自古以来就有了天,又有了坚实的地,既露出水面,又立在水中。”经文所说的“天”,以及天空以上和以下的水,就是凭上帝的话语发挥作用的,“凭此,当时的世界被洪水淹没,就毁灭了”。(彼后3:5,6)至于天空以上的水怎样存留在高空,怎样最终降下来,则众说纷纭,但全都是推断而已。圣经只是很简单地说,上帝造了天空以上的水,以及降下洪水。对全能的上帝来说,这样做自然轻而易举。
对地球的影响
洪水降下,产生了巨变,例如,人的寿命大大缩短了。有些人认为,洪水前天空以上的水遮挡了部分有害的辐射,水降下来以后,宇宙辐射对人体基因的损害加剧了。不过,圣经在这方面没有说什么。顺带一提是,在辐射方面的任何变动,都会改变放射性碳-14形成的速度,足以令洪水前的放射性碳数据一概作废。
由于“浩瀚深渊的泉源尽都裂开,天上的水闸都打开了”,数以亿吨计的水骤然从天而降,淹没地球。(创7:11)大洪水可能大大改变了地球的面貌。地壳不过是一个薄壳,厚度不一,具塑性,直径超过一万公里。因此,地壳在洪水的重压下,很可能大幅度移动。显然新的山岭隆起,原有的山岭再升高,水浅的海盆下陷,新的海岸线形成,结果现在地球表面约有百分之70被水覆盖。地壳的变动可能产生许多新的地貌,例如旧的海岸线升高了。有些科学家估计单是水压已等于“每平方英寸2吨[每平方厘米310公斤]”,足以令掩埋的动植物迅速形成化石。(见《冰河时期与圣经的洪水记载》,D.帕滕著,1966,62页)
洪水的传说
这场毁灭了古代世界的特大洪水,是生还者永不会忘记的。他们一代接一代地讲述下去。大洪水过了500年以后,闪仍然在生,无疑他会把这件事告诉他的子子孙孙。雅各出生时,闪才死了10年。后来,摩西把洪水的真实经过记载在创世记里。洪水之后,过了一段时间,人跟上帝对抗,着手兴建巴别塔,于是耶和华混乱了人的语言,“把人从那里分散到全地上”。(创11:9)人分散到各地后,自然会向子孙提到洪水这件事。事实上,关于大洪水的故事不是寥寥几个,而是数以百计,再者许多原始民族都有洪水的传说。这有力地证明全人类都有个共同的起源,而且全人类的远祖都曾经历过一场大洪水。(见上册328页附表)
这些民间的洪水传说跟圣经的记载有好几个重要的相似之处:(1)有一个供少数人逃过大难的地方,(2)一场洪水毁灭全球的生命,(3)有人生还,并繁衍下去。埃及人、希腊人、中国人、英国的德鲁伊特人、波利尼西亚人、爱斯基摩人、格陵兰人、非洲人、印度人、美洲印第安人,全都有自己的洪水传说。《国际标准圣经百科全书》(第2卷,319页)说:“几乎所有民族、部族都有洪水的传说。虽然最广泛流传的地区是亚洲大陆及其南面的岛屿,以及北美洲,可是各大洲都发现有洪水传说。已知的洪水传说总数多达270个左右。……由于洪水的故事广泛流传,因此常常给用来证明人类曾被一场全球的洪水毁灭,证明人类是从一个地方或甚至是从一个家庭繁衍开来的。虽然不一定是全部,但看来大部分洪水传说都指向同一场洪水。可是,有学者声称,这许许多多的洪水故事不过来自传教士而已,但这个讲法是说不通的,因为这些故事都是由人类学家在各地搜集得来的,而这些学家并不热衷于维护圣经;况且故事内容离奇怪诞,充满异教色彩,显然是因为这些故事在异教社会中流传了一段很长的时间。再者,一些写下洪水故事的人对希伯来和基督教的传统是大力反对的。”(G.布罗米利编,1982)

台风和飓风都属于北半球的热带气旋,只不过是因为它们产生在不同的海域,被不同国家的人用了不同的称谓而已。在北半球,国际日期变更线以东到格林尼治子午线的海洋洋面上生成的气旋称之为飓风,而在国际日期变更线以西的海洋上生成的热带气旋称之为台风。一般来说,在大西洋上生成的热带气旋,被称作飓风,而把在太平洋上生成的热带气旋称作台风。
台风是发生在热带大洋上的一种强气旋性涡旋,总伴有狂风暴雨。在热带洋面上生成发展的低气压系统称为热带气旋,根据中心附近的最大风力分级,12级以上通称台风。强烈的热带气旋伴有狂风暴雨、掀起巨浪、引发风暴潮。
飓风形成需要三个条件:温暖的水域;潮湿的大气;海洋洋面上的风能够将空气变成向内旋转流动。在多数风暴结构中,空气会变得越来越暖并且会越升越高,最后流向外界大气。如果在这些较高层次中的风比较轻,那么这种风暴结构就会维持并且发展。在飓风眼(即飓风中心)中相对来说天空比较平静。最猛烈的天气现象发生在靠近飓风眼的周围大气中,称之为(飓风)眼墙。在眼墙的高层,大多数空气向外流出,从而加剧大气的上升运动。
