Writing
Please write an article to present your discussion.
My View on Cloning
You can write as follows:
Your opinion: are you for or against cloning
Give your reasons. Use these words:
“firstly… secondly… lastly”
3. Give examples to support your idea.
for cloning
1.be beneficial to
organs used for transplanting
(器官移植)
2. animals and plants
that are becoming
extinct
3. agriculture (农业)

against cloning
1. an unexpected
variation of genes
(基因突变)
2. affect biodiversity
3. morality(道德) problem
References
a two-edge sword which should be strictly regulated.
Writing tips:
1 Two questions to keep in mind:
1). How to organize an article.
2). How to polish an article.
How to polish your article

2 Five steps of writing
Read the directions carefully, and find the main subject.
2. List the key points and find out the key words for each point.
3. Arrange paragraphs.
4. Extend(扩充) each key point to sentences, extending the sentences into a paragraph.
5. Read through the whole passage to make sure that no mistakes are made.
Today our class had a heated discussion about cloning. Some students are for cloning, because they think that cloning is beneficial to the cure of some serious illnesses ,such as offering cloned organs for people who need them and cloned babies for infertile couples. What’s more, they also believe cloning is a way of helping nature. Endangered animals such as pandas can get rid of being extinct. Last but not least, it provides a way to reproduce the talents of exceptional human beings.
However, each coin has two sides.Other students in our class are against cloning. Their valid reasons are as follows: first, the cloned people may suffer from unknown psychological pressure. Second, cloning is against the natural laws.It may affect the biodiversity. Third, the failed embryo for cloning may be wasted, which is unacceptable because these embryos are also lives in a way.
In my opinion, cloning is great if people treat it correctly. We should make laws to prevent it from being used in a wrong way.In a word, I hope to do our best to make full use of cloning to help human beings.
