三、重要句型
1.Miss Li is teaching her students about shapes.
李老师正在教她的学生关于图形的知识。teach sb. about sth. 教某人关于某方面的知识。注意：教我们英语是teach us English, 如果有同学译成teach our English, 那就大错特错了。它的名词形式是在后面加上-er, 类似的还有好几个，你能总结出来吗？
2.The students are learning how to draw them.
学生们正在学怎样画它们。learn how to draw them 学习怎么画它们，how to do sth. 表示“如何做某事”，常跟在相关的动词后面，注意倾斜的地方。如：teach me how to play computer games 教我怎样打电脑游戏。
3.What shape is the kite It’s a square.
风筝是什么形状 是正方形的。what shape 什么形状，用来对‘形状’提问，类似的还有，what colour 什么颜色，what time几点钟，what size 多大尺寸，what class 哪个班级……如：I’m in Class 2.对划线部分提问就是What class are you in
4.come to the blackboard and show us how to do it.
到黑板这儿来展示给我们看如何做（画一个圆）。show sb. how to do sth. 展示给某人看如何做某事，这里的某人要用宾格，如：Show me how to make a card. 展示给我看如何做卡片。show sb. how to do sth.与Unit 8中的show sb. sth.极为相似。
5.Let’s buy a New Year card for our grandparents.
让我们给（外）祖父祖母买张新年贺卡。a New Year card 新年贺卡，buy sth. for sb. = buy sb. sth. 给某人买某物，注意这里buy 与for的搭配。如：My father buys a new bike for me.=My father buys me a new bike. 我爸爸给我买了一辆新自行车。
6.Why don’t we make one
为什么我们不做一个呢？这里的one指代上句中的a New Year card. “Why don’t we + 动词原形？=Why not +动词原形 ”这一句式的意思是“我们为什么不……呢？”，表示建议，比较婉转客气。相当于“Shall we… ”“How/What about… ”你能把这两个句子补充完整吗？
7.Don’t forget to write ‘Dear Grandpa and Grandma’.
别忘了写上“亲爱的爷爷奶奶”。forget to do sth. 忘记做某事，注意forget后面的用词；Don’t forget to do sth. 别忘记了做某事， 如：Don’t forget to turn off the light. 别忘了关灯。
四、语法要点
1. 一般来说，在及物动词、系动词和介词的后面应使用人称代词的宾格形式。如：
Show us how to do it.向我们展示怎么做。
Give me that book.把那本书给我。
—Who is it —It?s me.——是谁？——是我。
We?re looking for him.我们正在找他。
