一 教学目标
1语言知识目标：

（3）学会Why引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。

四 教学过程
Step 1 Warming up and revision
T:Yesterday we went to a zoo together. We saw a lot of animals. Let’s review these animals. Let’s do a guessing game first.
Review the names of the animals they have learnt in last lesson.
Step 2 Teach the new words
Teach the new words by asking the students to guess the meaning of the words.
Step 3 Reading practice
Ask the students to read the conversation in 2d, and then let them complete the chart. Then check the answers.

Play the recording and let the students listen.
Have the students to read the conversation again and answer the question to lead out Animals are our friends, we must protect them.
Ask some pairs of students to role-play the conversation.
Step 4 Practice
Ask the students to fill in the blanks with the words from the box in 3a. And check the answers . Then ask some students to practice the conversation.
Step 5 Grammar Focus
Ask some students to read the sentences.
Step 6 Consolidation
Make the students write names of animals in the blanks to make sentences that are true for you.
