教学目标：

2.掌握和运用表达能力和表达意愿的句型:

4.通过听力训练,两人一组合作角色扮演的方式,通过图片提供的场景练习目标语言,提高英语听说能力。

4.学会使用情态动词can的肯定句、否定句和一般疑问句。
教学重难点：
1.正确使用本单元的动词和动词短语,分辨、会用play chess和play the guitar。
2.正确分辨can 与can’t的读音,能够使用can句型谈论能力。
教学思路：
本课时的教学内容是人教版七年级下册英语第一单元的第一课时,重点在于引导学生观看图片,理解语境,从表示俱乐部的名词词组开始,自然地导入谈论能力和表达自己想要加入什么俱乐部的话题。I want to join the art club.Can you draw Yes,I can.以活动和任务引起学生的听说兴趣,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词,同时在对话中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的动词和短语,询问和回答能力的句型。情感目标定为通过话题的学习,培养学生的学习习惯和兴趣,使学生对课外活动感兴趣。

2.T:Now,open your books and read the new words and expressions in 1a aloud.
3.Match the activities with the people.
T:Please pay attention to the article “the” in the phrase “play the guitar”.There is no “the” in “play chess”.
The teacher should help students to learn the phrases.

Can you play the guitar
动词play能够表示“玩;进行(体育运动);演奏”,但是,在表示演奏、播放音乐的短语中,名词前面通常需要加定冠词the,而表示体育活动的短语前不需要the。

1.Can you draw
can是情态动词,表示能力,意思是“会,能”,没有人称和单复数的变化。否定形式是can’t或cannot,变为疑问句时,将can置于句首。

2.I want to join the music club.
◆want to do sth.想要做某事,相当于would like to do sth.。
He wants to have a new bike.他想有一辆新自行车。
　　◆join的意思是“加入,参加”,join the Youth League入团(共青团),join the Young Pioneers入队(少先队)。

1.After listening to the three conversations,get the class to read them aloud.
T:Now let’s listen to the tape and read the conversations in 1b.
Ss read aloud.Then practice the conversations.Focus on the stressed words,pronunciation and intonation.
