一、教学目标
1.学习有管乐器的名词,学会表达演奏乐器的短语。
2.能巩固并熟练运用can和can’t用于不同人称来谈论别人乐器方面的能力。
3.能通过听录音学会有目的地获取对话中的关键信息,同时在听的过程中进一步巩固本单元目标语言。
二、学情分析:
七年级的学生,由于年龄小,又加上生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。在实际操作过程中,却有很多问题。有的学生已经说得很好,有的学生可能说的不好,有的还不敢说,小学也对英语的重视程度不高且参差不齐,学生一开始对英语还有兴趣,但随着英语知识的深入,这种兴奋往往会很快地减退,还很容易产生厌学情绪。因此,在本学科的教学过程中,在注重启发引导,培养学生分析、概括能力的同时,更要注重教学方法的灵活性,通过任务型教学法,情景交际法,全身反应教学法等,激发学生学习的兴趣,让学生乐于接受,易于接受。
三、教学重难点
1.掌握理解情态动词can的肯定、否定句、一般疑问句、 特殊疑问句及肯定和否定回答。
2.正确使用情态动词,谈论喜好和能力。
3.能用恰当地道的英语介绍自己及他人的喜好和能力。
四、教学步骤
Step1 Lead-in
T: Boys and girls, Today we will have a music club, what can you do Who wants to try
S: I can sing and dance.
T: Can you sing Can you dance
S: Yes, I can T: Come here. Show yourself. (学生展示自己的才华,接下来再以问答的形式用can来展示自己的才华)
Step2 Check the preview
(1)Hear some sounds and talk about them.
T: What’s this
S1: It’s a piano/guitar/violin.
T: What are these
S2: They are drums.
(2)Read the new words.
(3)Game: quick eyes
(4)Work on 1a.
Draw lines to match the words with the picture.
Step3 Presentation
(1)Look and say
T: What can he do
S: He can play the guitar。
T: What can she do
S: She can play the piano。
T: What can they do
S: They can play the violin
T: What can they do
S: They can play the drums.
(3)Game: Who is faster
(4)Listen and number the words (1–4) in the order of the sounds you hear in 1a.
(5)Let’s chant.
Step4 Practice
(1)Have Ss make conversations about the four pictures.
A: Can you …
B: Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.
C: Can she …
D: Yes, she can. /No, she can’t.
(2)Pair work
(3)Play a game
Step5 Listening practice
(1)Work on 1d. Listen and circle the words and phrases you hear.
(2) Check the answers.
(3) Work on 1e. Listen again. Fill in the chart with the words and phrases in 1d.
(4) Work on 1f. Talk about what Bill, Cindy and Frank can and can’t do.
