一、教材分析及学情分析
本单元是继 Units2-4单元之后,进一步学习“数词”13~20。通过 How many., are there 句型了解数词表量“多少”的意义。

A. Let’s listen and say 对话。老师在教室里测明明数尺子。目标语? How many rulers are there Thirteen rulers.
B. Let’s learn 单词。Numbers 13~20
C. Let’s act 活动。 练习句型How many … are there There are … .
D. Let’s read 连环画。Dino夜晚数天上的星星。
E. Let’s listen, read and write 语音和书写。字母Rr 在单词中的发音和书写。
F. Let’s have fun 儿歌。与数字1~10相关。
学生在之前通过学习句型“What’s your number ”、“How old are you ” 和“What’s the time ” 的功能与意念,熟悉掌握了数词1~12。这些话题与学生的生活紧密相关,学生学得较好,说得也很顺。大部分学生能看着阿拉伯数字用英语说出来,但是还有部分学生对这些英语单词的认读还不准确、意义的理解还有问题。甚至还有少数学生20以内的加减法的数学思维能力还有些问题。
二、单元整体目标
1、能听懂会说、会读、会写数词13~20,了解它们的基本构词法?并能明白其意义与表量的功能。
2、能理解并初步运用句型How many… are there There are… 。
3、能学会Part A课文内容及理解拓展阅读材料Part D。
4、了解Rr字母在单词中的发音?并训练字母的书写。
5、掌握本单元中出现的两个四会词?star, rainbow。
6、学习关于1~10的Chant获得学习乐趣。
7、能在创设的情境中综合运用数词1~20。

课时 The First Period
教学内容 Parts B and C 课型 Word-sentence Teaching
教学 目标 1. Revise the numbers 1~10 and grasp the new words: star and the numbers 13~20. And know the forms of “-teen” and “-ty”. 2. Be able to understand and use the sentence patterns : ---How many … are there ---There are … . 3. Get to know the sentence “6 and 7 is 13”, and differences between “there is”and “ there are”.
重点 难点 1. The new words and sentence structures. 2. Be able to use the knowledge about the numbers learned and sentences correctly.

II?Presentation and drill ?20 mins? 1. the numbers 1~12 2.Sentences: How many…are there There are … . 3. Numbers 13~20 1.T: Do you remember the words 1~12 Let’s have a dictation. Ask Ss to get ready. Then check the answers, showing T’s word cards. 2. T explain the game rules. T shows Ss many glass balls and then put some into the box. Next get Ss to guess how many balls there are, showing their word cards and shouting in English. 3. T repeats “How many … are there There are … .” many times by playing. Then teach the sentences and get Ss to try to say “There are … ”, and guess the meanings after the game. 4. T poits out the pronunciation of “th” and differences between “there is”and “ there are”. 5.T gets Ss to practice in pairs with new sentences. 6. T: Well. Let’s have a Math training activity. Let me see who is better at math. T shows the word cards and write a math formula, such as 3+7= , three + seven= T: What’s three and seven … In this way, teach the new words 13~20. 7. Point out the the forms of “-teen” and “-ty”. 8. T: You did a good job. Let’s count which group has got how many stars. Look at Group One’s sky. How many stars are there? 1. Have a dictation and write the words on 12 pieces of paper or cards. Then check the answers. 2. Play the game by 1)watching and listening and guessing 2) showing the word cards and saying out the English words quickly. 3. Learn the new sentences by imitating and trying to use. 4. Pay attention to what T says. 5. Ss practice in pairs, using their school things. 6. Learn the new words 13~20, by looking, listening, thinking and saying. 7. Copy the words and especially remember “thirteen, fifteen, eighteen”. 8. Ss count the stars on Bb. Learn “count” . 听写是一种常用的也是有用的技能训练方法。 以旧带新。 在游戏活动中既复习了1~12的英语单词的认读与发音,又感知了新的句型的音和 义。 游戏中教师在学生反复感知的基础上,再板书引导学生学习。玩中学、学中玩。 从真实情景出发打破教材的设计,加入单数形式的句型表达有利于学生用英语表达得更多。 学科综合能进一步激发学生的学习积极性,新的句型只是一个引子,也为本单元 D部分做些铺垫。引导学生通过对1~12? 13~20的单词构词的观察找到拼写规律。能有助于学生优化单词学习策略。最后的抄写练习有利于及时巩固和记忆。 巧妙地利用课堂小结评价,将新学的单词拉回到新学的句型,学生对新知的整体运用得以实现。
IV. Practice (10 mins) Parts B and C 1. Get Ss to read Parts B and C after the tape. 2. T: Do you know how many boys there are in our class … Get Ss to ask and answer something about their class / school. 1.Open the books. Read Parts B and C after the tape, then by themselves. 2. Ask and answer in groups. 开书跟磁带读是每节课必须到位的一个活动,有利于引导学生回家后自主学习。 从身边的人和事统计,学生觉得很有趣而轻松。
V. Consolidation (7 mins) Listening exercise 1. T: Today Mingming is counting his things. What is he counting How many Let’s listen. 2. Get Ss try to get the information by listening. Then open the books and read Part A once. And point out the title. “How many pens are there ” 3. Assess their work and sum up. 1. Listen with the questions, and try to answer them. 2. Open the books and read Part A once. 3. Count and assess their work by asking and answer. 本节课单词学习任务重,在两人小组练习完后,通过做听力练 习,两人的对话来巩固所学新知也是一个很好的途径。 材料选取的就是 PartA, 同时为下一节课做好铺垫。 真实地巩固运用所学 新知。
Homework there … Teach “count”. Assign their homework : 1)Copy the words and senences. 2) Preview A and D. 3) Search the numbers of many things in your house, such as books in the bookcase. Copy and remember Their homework. 抄写单词和句子是利于巩固所学知识的必要措施。 预习能引导学生养成好的学习习惯。 作业任务化。学生回家在统计书、筷子、碗等日常用品时,能用上所学的句型。也为第二节课的活动开展做好铺垫。

评价 设计 把全班分成四个组,进行组与组之间的竞赛。采用的手段是画星星,看哪组得到的最多。单词star是所要学的四会词?通过画星星来激励学生努力学习。在统计与总结时又与学习数词紧密相连。 评价形式有师评、他评、自评。使得评价的过程变成了真实运用所学知识。
教学反思 ?亮点与不足 1、亮点:游戏、数学练习、作业布置、评价体现了新课程理念,能促进学生英语思维的发展和综合能力的培养,注重了基础知识的听说读写训练。 2、不足:Practice的活动还应该更具体些,如:要求每个人应该完成几个提出和回答,要确定询问内容,如?How many desks / chairs… 这样就可以节约时间。

Learn the words “rabbit, rat” and get ready for new tasks. 3. Observe and find out the letter and the same pronunciation. And try to say out more words including “r” , and transfer to new words.
