二、教学目标
1.Be able to read, listen, speak the words and phrases: guitar,dance, swim, sing, draw, chess, play chess, speak, speak English, join, club.
2.Be able to talk about one's ability and hobby with can .
3.To learn to use sentences about can.
4.To read ,understand and master the conversation fluently
三、学习者分析
They are very interested to learn English ,but most of they come from different primary schools in the village, so they don't have good spoken English, and they are kind of shy.
四、教学重难分析及解决措施
To use word and phrases to talk about one‘s ability and hobby.
To sum up the usage of expressions with clubs and play.
五、教学设计
Step 1 Showing learning aims
Show learning aims and make sure that they know what they will learn today. Then show pictures and get students to revise the words and phrases they learned in last class.
Step 2 Free talk
Play a game of taking a quick train .Make a model with one students like ; T: I can sing .What can you do
S1: I can dance .What can you do
S 2: I can swim . What can you do
......
Encourage more students to say what they can do .
Now show another sentences model : I can dance and sing ,but I can't swim or draw. Guide students to say what they can do and what they can't do ,the longer ,the better. Help they to speak English fluently and pay attention to correct ing errors, also their pronunciation.
Step 3 Presentation
Show pictures of dancing about a man ,guide students to ask and answer question :
What can he do Can he dance
Yes, he can .
No, he can't .
Then show a picture of a girl who is playing basketball .
What can Mary do
Yes , she can.
No, she can't.
Teach students to use she ,he, it ,they with can ,can't .
Step 4 Drills
Work in pairs to ask and answer with
what can he /she/theydo
Can he/she/ they ...
Yes , he /she / they can.
No , he/ she/ they can't.
They can answer those questions with QQ faces, they are interested in them.
Step 5. New teaching
Show pictures with football, basketball, violin and so on to teach them to say : I can play the piano , I want to join the basketball club..
Now guide them to say I want to join music club, swimming club, art club, English club and so on .
Step 6.Role-play the conversation
Work on 2d . To read the conversation together, in pairs and in groups. Pay attention to the phrases of clubs.
Try to recite the conversation in pairs and complete the conversation.
Step 7. Summary
Show the phrases of different clubs they used today and help them to sum up the form of clubs.
Then phrases with play ,ask them to sum up when to use the with play.
Read them loudly together.
