教材依据:人教版七年级下册英语第三单元How do you get to school Section A(1a-1c)
教材分析:本单元是Go for it!(下)Unit3,主要围绕“How do you get to school ” 这一话题展开教学。Section A(1a-1c)第一课时是基本语言内容的搜集和学习,教师主要引导学生通过PPt和1a 的语言素材看图说话,句型操练,实际描述,运用对话表演等方式使学生能够正确地使用表示交通方式的词组、句型,从而熟练地谈论乘坐不同的交通工具上学,内容与日常生活紧密相关,学生熟悉,乐于去说,因此,在教学过程中,应联系生活实际,采用多种方式,以说为主,配合听的练习,以对话的途径解决本课的内容。为今后学习合理安排行程,合理选用交通工具打下基础。
学情分析:学生对交通工具在小学有初步的认识了解(简单学习了其中一种表达方式:by+交通工具),以旧带新引出另外一种交通工具的表达方式(take+the/a+交通工具)。由于学生对熟悉的、实际生活的话题比较感兴趣,而本单元的话题正符合这一特点,但学生两极分化严重,所以尽量采用多媒体图片、分组讨论表演对话等任务型的课堂活动,让学生人人参与,增强他们的学习积极性和自信心。

Step1.Lead–in
T:I usually get to school at 6:30 and I usually get to school on foot.But sometimes I get to school by bike.(Do some actions at the same time.)
Ask the students: What about you (How do you get to school ) and get them to answer it by learning in the past primary school
S:I get to school by bus/bike ....
Today we will learn the second expression:Unit3 How do you get to school
Step2.Presentation(PPt)
1>T:What kind of transportation do you know
S:Bus/bike/car...

2>Show seven pictures of transportation on the screen.Then teach the words and phrases.(PPt)

3>Have the students read them after me.
4> Give the students four minutes to recite them.
(设计意图:通过多媒体课件显示,引出新授单词,形象、直观,增加了学生学习的兴趣.)
Step3.Talking about the pictures.(1a)
1>Show a picture of 1a on the screen.Then ask the students:

2>I tell the students:Different students come to school using different means of transportation.
3>Have the students finish 1a and check the answers.
Step4.Pairwork
1>Show six pictures on the screen and ask two students in pairs to practice.

2>Ask five groups to act out .
(注意:要求学生用完整句子回答,学生在作答时容易犯这样的错误,一个句子出现两个动词。eg:I take the bus get to school.(X))

(设计意图:两人一小组进行问答练习,这样的学习既可以培养学生的合作意识,又能在情景中用现在进行时交际,使每个学生都有机会说英语,巩固本节课重点。)
Step5: Listening
1>Before listening 1b ,ask the students to guess the answers by sex and the numbers of people .Then listen carefully and check the answers.
(提示:1b表格中有6名学生,2个女孩Mary 和Yang Lan 4个男孩;根据1a 图中得知两个女孩是乘地铁和步行,又知1个女孩和一个男孩一起步行上学,就只剩下3个男孩,这样听起来就简单了许多,为听力做好铺垫。)
2>Use the information of 1a and the names of 1b to make conversations.

Divide the students into four groups and talk about:How many students get to school by bike/bus/on foot in your group Then give a report to the class.

(设计意图:从分小组练习对话到调查报告,学生从第一人称到第三人称的转变,过程中让学生注意倾听别人的对话,这样可以无意识的养成倾听的好习惯,同时调查报告也培养了学生的写作能力,操练了本课的语言知识点。)
