Step One:Greetings
Step Two: Lead-in Report
I’ll tell you something about my favorite animal and give you the reasons before class.Do you want to know others’ favorite animals Can you make a conversation between each other
Step Three: Pairwork (3a) Fill in the blanks with the words from the box, then practice the conversation.
1. Ask the students to fill in the blanks.
2. Practice the conversation.
Step Four: Ask and answer (3b) Write names of
animals in the blanks to make sentences that are true four you.
1 .Ask students to fill in the blanks.
2.Ask students to read the answers.
设计意图:这一环节是半开放的集笔头和口头为一体的活动,其设计之妙处就在于由描述性形容词来推导学生所喜爱的动物名称,从而培养学生的逆向思维能力。
Step Five: Play the game (3c)
Think of an animal. Ask and answer questions with your partner to guess each other’ s animal.
设计意图:这一环节通过玩游戏的方式极大地激发了学生学习的兴趣,从而能让学生充分运用已学的重要句式和词汇谈论动物,真正做到了寓教于乐。
