Step I. Revision
转盘游戏。Ss make conversations with their partners according to the Chinese phrases.
What are you doing
I am washing the dishes.
What is she doing
She is washing the dishes.
Step II. New words
1. Where do people usually swim Lead into new words: pool, in the pool, supermarket, at the supermarket, library, in the library. Then teach new words with sentences.
2. 1a. Look at the pictures and complete the chart. Then check the answers.
Step III. Pair work
1b. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then ask and answer questions with your partner. Ask several pairs to act out.
Step IV. Listening
1. 1c. Listen and complete the chart.
2. 1d. Listen again and fill in the blanks. Then read
together.
Step V. Consolidation
1. A game——lucky number. Ss choose a lucky number and make conversations according to the given picture. Then ask other Ss if they can make different conversation.
2. Exercise. 写出所给句子的一般疑问句并回答。
Step VI. Emotion aim
Tell Ss that “ It matters not what you want to do, but what are doing.”
