Step 1 Warming up
1.Show some pictures of birthday and say what they are.
2.Match the words with the pictures.
3.Introduce the new words.
Step 2 Listening practice
1.Ask the students to read the phrases in Activity 1.
2.Match the pictures with the expressions.
3.Play the recording through once while they just listen.
4.Ask the students to listen to the recording.
5.Play the recording again,then number the pictures.
Step 3 Listen and read
1.Ask the students to read the conversation silently.
2.Play the recording and ask the students to listen and read the conversation.
3.Read the conversation and act it out.
4.Choose the correct answer in Activity 3.
5.Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer.
