一、教学目标：
1. 语言知识目标：
1) 能掌握以下单词：nose, blonde, mouth, round, face, eye, singer,
2) 能掌握描述人物相貌的句型。

-Sb + have/has + adj + n.
-Sb + wears + n.
2. 情感态度价值观目标：
教育学生不能以貌取人，建立正确的追星观，各行各业都有值得我们崇拜的偶像。
二、教学重难点
正确、熟练地描述人物相貌。
三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
Greeting.
Duty report.
Get a student to make a duty report.
Point at the student who makes the duty report and ask the students ‘What does he look like ’Get a student to describe him.
Ⅱ. Presentation
Show the picture of Pan Changjiang and ask‘What does he look like ’Have students answer. Write the title on the blackboard.
Show some pictures on the big screen and present the new words and expressions by asking and answering. Teach the new words: nose, blonde, mouth, round, face, eye, singer.(Ask them to pay attention to the pronunciation of the vowel letters.) Ask them to read and spell the words.
3. Work on 1a: Ask the students to read the words and match the words with the pictures.
4. Get several students to describe the people on the pictures.(Tell them to know the order of the adjectives.)
5. Work on 1b: Show the picture of Jackie Chan for students to describe him. Give them an Example ‘Jackie Chan has black hair.’Then ask them to make sentences about famous people to fill the blanks. (Show some pictures of famous stars to help them fill the blanks.) Fill in the blanks and check each other. Get some students to describe the famous stars.

1. Tell them ‘You will hear Laura and Bob talking about Johnny Dean and Tina Brown. Your job is to write the job each person does.’ Point to the heading "Job" on the chart. Listen and write the answers.
2. Work on 1d: Listen again. This time your job is to write what each person looks like. Point to the heading "looks like". Listen again and check the answers.

3. Listen a third time to understand the key words.
Ⅴ. Practice speaking and writing.
Show a picture of John Jackson get a student to describe him. Then show the writing to give students an example.
Show some more pictures for students to describe.
Show some superstars from different fields. Ask the students to choose one to write what they look like. Ask them to work in small groups to help each other to correct the mistakes. （Get one student to write on the blackboard.）
Ⅵ. Summary
Tell them the key points of this class. Have a dictation of the key words. Check in pairs.
Finish several exercises.
