【教学目标】
1．To consolidate Present Continuous questions and short answers.
2．To learn new words by using word map and pictures.
3．To write a letter about the Spring Festival.
【教学重点】
1．Key vocabulary：finish，housework.
2．Key structures：Present Simple with I，you，we，they；prepositions of time at，in，on；negative form of Present Simple don’t.
【教学难点】
1．Function：
(1)How to describe and ask about the festival;
(2)Describe the process of preparing the festival.
2．Grammar：The Present Continuous Tense.
【教学过程】
Step 1　Revision
Review the text of Unit 1 and Unit 2.
Step 2　Language practice
1．Read through the example sentences in the box with the whole class.
2．Ask the students to repeat the sentences in the box.
3．Grammar：The Present Continuous Tense.
Step 3　Work in pairs
1．Look at the pictures.
2．Ask and answer：What can you see What are they doing
3．Read through the example sentences with the whole class.
Step 4　Writing
1．Read through the example sentences in Activity 2.
