教材分析 This period is the last lesson of Unit 1. Students will learn about an article of introducing Marco Polo and the using of directories. Then they can learn about an article of introducing Ferdinand Magellan and improve the ability to capture key information by expanding reading. Students can have more knowledge of the travelers and cultivate students’ life sentiment, too.
学习目标 Knowledge objectives: 1)To read more practice on one’s own. 2)To learn about the article of introducing Marco Polo. 3)To learn about the using of directories. 4)To learn about the article of introducing Ferdinand Magellan.Skill objectives:1)To improve the reading ability. 2)To learn to guess new words in the text. 3)To understand the content of the article of introducing Marco Polo. 4)Improve the ability to capture key information by expanding reading.Emotional objectives: Have more knowledge of the travelers and cultivate students’ life sentiment.Thinking quality objectives: To self study and to cooperate to summarize the rules.
