一、教学目标：
1、 口、笔头掌握以下单词:dry,hot,cold,warm。
2、 进一步熟练运用How和What引导的特殊疑问句及其回答。
3、 通过听录音能获取对话中的关键信息，并让学生在真实语境中运用句型“How’s the weather ” “How’s it going ” “Great/Not bad.”和”What are you doing ”等组织对话。
4、 通过交流个人近况、天气和日常活动，提高学生与人交流的能力，培养良好的人际关系。
二、教学重难点：
重点：1、口、笔头掌握以下单词：dry,hot,cold,warm.。
2、熟练掌握句型：“How’s the weather ’,”How’s it going ”,”What are you doing ”。
难点：正确运用所学的功能句进行实践性表达。

Step1:Lead-in
1. Revision:What do they mean 教师出示图片，与学生一起复习描述天气状况的形容词sunny,cloudy,windy,rainy/raining,snowy/snowing。
2. Pair work:
A:How is the weather in...
B:It’s sunny.What’s the weather like in...

Step2:Presentation
1. Teath the new words:dry,cold,hot,cool,warm.教师出示图片教新单词并反复领读纠正学生的发音。
2. Game:Consolidate the new words.用多种方式巩固所学的单词。如：听单词说汉语，听汉语说单词，看首字母快速说出单词等。
3. Match the words with the pictures in 1a.
4. Look at the pictures in 1a,ask and answer questions about the weather in the pictures.

5. Ask the students to listen to the conversation and imitate the tape.
Step5:Pair work 1e
Look at the chart in 1c.Student A is Mary and Student B is Eric. Role-play the conversations about the things in the chart. Then change roles.
