一、教学目标
知识与技能:知识目标:熟练掌握有关描述人的外貌的词汇:curly,straight,tall,medium,height,thin,heavy.掌握描述人的外貌的句型: A:What does he look like B:He is tall,and he has curly hair.技能目标:能够询问并简单描述人的外貌特征。过程与方法:以学生为中心的任务型教学,利用学生感兴趣的人物导入新课的学习。通过话题操练、游戏等活动,让学生参与到整个课堂的学习过程中。通过听说训练,学生能听懂描述人的外貌特征的会话,最终能学以致用。情感态度价值观:让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:有关外貌描述的词汇及相关句型。难点:运用句型描述人物外貌时需分清何时用is,何时用has.

Step1Warming up and leading-inPlay a song“Be ready for the dreams” Which is sung by TFBOYS and lead in the topic. Listen,enjoy and try to say something about their looks. 播放学生喜欢的青春组合TFBOYS的歌曲并引出话题,激发学生兴趣,创设情境导入,拉近师生距离。
Step2 Independent learningTask4:ListeningListen and fill in the blanks in the picture above. Can you find Amy’s friend Task5:Play games.Task6:Learn the patterns to describe people’s looks. Task1:AccordingttotChinese,translate into EnglishTask2: Learn the words , phrases and sentences. Task3:Finish 1a.First look at the sentences.Next listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.Finally find Amy’s friend.Choose and answer the questions.Work in pairs to talk about like this:A: What does your favorite person look like
