Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision

2. Review the vocabulary in this unit.
Ⅱ. Presentation
Show the picture in 3a, what can you see Ask the students to practice in pairs.
Ⅲ. Practice
This activity provides reading and writing practice using the target language.
Point out the pictures and ask students to describe what they see.
Answer any question. Students may have about these or other vocabulary items. Write each new word on the board and discuss its meaning. Then ask students to complete the passage.
Check the answers: did my homework, helped mum, went to the library, played soccer, watched TV.
Ⅳ.Writing
Present pictures on the screen. Discuss the pictures with students. Then ask students to write about what you did last weekend.
A sample writing:
My last weekend was kind of busy. I played badminton on Saturday morning. On Saturday afternoon, I went swimming. It was exciting. I went to the movie in the evening. On Sunday morning, I went to the park and went boating. On Sunday afternoon, I camped by the lake. On Sunday evening, I did my homework.
V. Self Check
1. Review the phrases in this unit, complete the phrases in self check 1. Ask students to do the exercise by themselves, then check the answers.
