教学过程
1. Lead-in:
Talk about some pictures.
【设计意图】通过描述图片中的地点名称,达到复习与巩固的作用,同时为即将引出的there be句型的一般疑问句及回答做铺垫。
2. Presentation
Have Ss look at the maps and help them to understand the target language.
【设计意图】通过展示图片的用法,既直观又生动的展示了位置关系的表达,there be句型的一般疑问句及回答和where特殊疑问句的问与答,为下一步理解对话扫清了障碍,并引出了本节课的重点句型。
3. Pairwork
Make conversations by using “where” according to the picture.
【设计意图】巩固where特殊疑问句的提问和回答。
4. Work on 2d
(1) Listen to the recording and pay attention to the pronunciation.
(2) Read the conversation and answer the questions.
(3) Role-play the conversation in 2d.
(4) Have Ss get into pairs and make conversations based on the example in 2d.
【设计意图】学生通过回答问题能理解对话的内容,通过角色扮演能在情境中学会运用,通过自编对话能更好的让学生学以致用。
5. Grammar Focus
(1) Read through the sentences.
(2) Ask Ss to focus on the questions and answers.
(3) Translate the sentences into English.
【设计意图】本部分为本单元的内容核心,不仅概括了本单元的重点,还将基本句型一一呈现。通过句子的罗列,使学生关注人称的变化。因此不应小视,但由于是总结性内容,故要求学生朗读。通过阅读语法框句子后给出汉语意思,让他们说出英文,有利于培养学生快速记忆的能力,掌握所学重点。
6.探究there be句型
(1) There be句型的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及其回答的结构
(2) Be动词形式的主谓一致原则
(3) 练习用正确的be动词填空
(4) 区别”there be”和”have”
【设计意图】讲解there be,让学生明确其用法。练习题,让学生巩固所学。
7. Work on 3a
(1) Look at the map and answer the questions.
(2) Check Ss’ answers.
【设计意图】在进一步练习本单元核心内容。
8. Work on 3b
(1) Look at the map in 3a and write three sentences.
(2) Have Ss check their answers in groups and then report their answers to the class.
【设计意图】巩固3a内容。
9.A guessing game
【设计意图】小组合作交流,激发学习兴趣,巩固练习位置关系介词。
10.Summary
【设计意图】学生谈本节课收获。
