三、教学过程
Step1. Leading-in
The teacher give the students some encourages to face the following challenge like this:
We have learned Unit 10, it’s time for you to show yourself. Today let’s have a contest between the boys and the girls, are you interested in it ok,today we devide all of the students into two teams, I have some questions for you .anyone can answer them, and get the scores for his team.
Step 2 Checking the words
1. Writing from memory.
Take out their checking paper ,write down the English words according to the Chinese meanings,.
2. Make up some sentences with the important words.
world, answer, different, cake, candle, age
Step 3 Checking the phrases
1. Three minutes for them to prepare for it .
2. A girl choose the number for a boy ,then exchange, anyone can get a score if he can answer it.(translate the phrases into English)
Step 4. Checking the sentences
1.Work in pairs, make a dialogue with the sentences in this unit .
① May I take your order
② What would you like
③ What kind of noodles would you like
I'd like ......
2.Act in front.(Each team choose two groups to act in front.)
Step 5 grammar
1. Ask the Ss some questions.
For example: would like的用法,some、any的用法,
名词做定语用单数的用法
2.Have a test by writing the answers directly.
Write down the correct answers for each exercise,then check them together.
Step 6 Composition
Ask the students use the useful expressions in this unit like this: Imagine your group wants to open a special restaurant , what kind do you like Discuss and design your own poster, then write a short passage.
Step7 The result
Tell them the final scores, ask the losers dance for the winners.
Step8 Sublimation
Send a sentence for the students:
1.We don’t need to compare with others, we just need to make ourselves today better than the ones yesterday.
2.Anything is possible if you try your best to do it.
