一、教学目标
1. 知识目标
(1) 会听说读写重点词汇和短语:cheer, cheer up, clean up, give up, volunteer.
(2) 会使用以下句式造句:
① I hope to….
② I’d like to….
③ I want to….
④ You could ….
(3) 会用英语表达帮助他人的方式。
2. 情感目标
通过本课学习,让学生初步懂得关爱社会,关爱他人,乐于助人。
二、学习重难点
重点:1)动词短语的构成与用法。
2)情态动词could 的用法。
难点:动词不定式to do 的用法。
三、教学过程
Step1. revision
1. Have the students recite the dialouge 2d in Unit 1(check the whole class—two groups).
2. Do some dictation about Unit 1.
(1) trouble (2) passenger (3) toothache (4) blood (5) decision
(6) have a fever (7) lie down (8)take risks
(9) What’s the matter with you (10) She has a headache.

(在此过程中让学生注意光看视频是带着两个问题:(1) Who are they What do they want to do (2) How do they help others
2. Ask the students: Do you often help others How do you help others
(在此过程中,提问学生,让学生用原有的知识来回答,然后通过图片来呈现本课的新知:clean up, give out…)
3. Practice(机械操练)
(在此过程中,让学生分男女角色操练,分小组操练)
Step 3. Listening
1. 播放1b的听力,按要求完成1b.
2. 再播放1b的听力,让学生一边听一边跟读,(强调学生模仿,注意语音、语调。)
Step4. Practice
1. Pair work : 三个共同体对话练习(可按照课本的对话,也可自己编新的对话)
模仿1b的听力材料或sample dialogue,与小组成员创编新的对话,并且大胆把它展示出来
2. Group work: 在小组内练习,要求编成新的对话并展示。
假设明天是志愿者活动日,我们将前往敬老院、医院……开展活动,活动中你会用什么方式帮助他人,请编成一段对话并展示。
