一.教学内容
新目标英语八年级下Unit 2 I’ll help clean up the city parks Section B本节课以谈论offer help为中心话题,通过学习培养学生的阅读能力和语言综合运用的能力使学生听说读写的能力得到进一步的锻炼和提高。
二.教学目标
1.知识目标:
A.掌握基本的词汇短语,如:several ,strong ,feeling,joy, satisfaction ,try out....;
B.熟练运用I will....I would like....I want to....能正确使用动词不定式;
C.培养学生在阅读文段中寻找关键词的阅读能力;
2.能力目标:
A.以谈论offer help 为中心,使学生听说读写的能力得到进一步的锻炼和提高;
B.通过创设情境,发展学生的思维能力,促进学生心志的发展,提高学生的综合人文素养。
3.情感目标:
A.通过各种任务活动,引导学生积极主动参与各种英语实践活动。能够向别人提供帮助或提出如何帮助他人的建议。让学生在接触,体验和理解语言的基础上获得学习的乐趣和成就感,树立自信心。
B.通过小组对话、讨论等一系列的课活动,培养学生的合作精神,和团队意识。让学生在接触,体验和理解语言的基础上获得学习的乐趣和成就感,树立自信心。
4.学习策略:
A.交际策略: 学会与他人合作交流,并能把语言材料用到真实的生活中去;
B.认知能力:积极思考,及时反馈;
三.教学重点、难点
重点:
A.掌握基本的词汇短语,如:several ,strong ,feeling,satisfaction ,joy,try out ....;
B.熟练运用I will....I would like....I want to....能正确使用动词不定式;
难点:
A.让学生学会使用不定式结构及相关短语动词来表述自己的能力和优势,及为他人提供帮助和服务的想法。
B.培养学生在阅读文段中寻找关键词的阅读能力。
四.教学方法
采用任务型语言教学,小组合作法,情景教学法、交际法、情感激励法等教学方法。
学情分析:初二的学生已具备了一定的学习基础和认知能力,他们思维活跃,兴趣广泛,好胜心强,可塑性大,求知欲高,善于表达自我的观点和看法,特别是对他们熟悉的话题学生更加感兴趣。而本单元的话题正符合学生的这一心理特点,因此本节课各种任务活动的设置能够面向全体同学,让学生人人都参与,充分关注每一个学生的学习情况,因人施教,因材施教,以防止学生两极分化的现象出观。
五.教学过程
Step1. Lead-in
1.Greet students.
2.Boys and girls, look at me, what am I (volunteer) Yes, I’m a volunteer of an animal care center. (show the pictures about “animal care center ”) This weekend “I’ll help in an animal care center .” Do you want to be a volunteer like me

Step3.Listening practice(1b)
1.Pre-reading (look at the picture and predict the conversation)
Look at the picture in 1a and guess:What would the boy /the girl like to do What could the boy/the girl do in their volunteer jod

2.While-reading
The first listening: Please read the passage and answer the questions quickly.
The second listening: fill in the blanks
The third listening: Have a challenge to ask Ss to retell the passage.
3.Post-reading

b.Ask some pairs to show their conversations.
