学习目标 语言知识目标1. 能够听、说、读、写短语：tall, short, fat, thin。2. 能用句型Look at that ...It’s ...来介绍动物或者人类的特征。（二）思维能力目标1.熟练运用本课单词tall, short, fat, thin并能结合以前所学的颜色类动物类家庭成员类等单词，组合成不同内容。并能展示，输出。2.能介绍自己喜欢的动物的特征。（三）学习能力目标1. 通过pair work等活动，学会与他人合作学习的能力。2. 通过不同的学习任务，学生能有意识地运用所学字、词、句，培养“说英语”的能力。（四）文化品格目标1.通过学习本课，学生学会与国外朋友进行交流。2.培养学生主动用英语交际的习惯，了解身体特征，容纳异己，尊重生命，健康生活。
重点 本课时需要重点掌握有关特征的词组tall, short, fat, thin
难点 能用句型Look at that ...It’s ...来介绍动物或者人类的特征。并进行关键词的替换操练。

It’s so tall.课件点击出示tall，学习新知，教师领读，带读，升降调等各种方式操练同时操练句型Look at that ...It’s ...用同样的方法学习其他单词short, thin, fatListen and imitate.呈现视频观看视频并且跟读，注意语音语调。 Learn the new words with the help of pictures.Watch the video and listen and follow to read. 完成对本课时重点知识点的讲解，讲解中增强与学生的互动，步步深入，使学生在课堂上对所学知识点有深刻印象。用录音进行课文的示范朗读，是培养学生良好的朗读习惯的关键，同时也能为学生的朗读树立榜样。
