Step1 Presentation1. Present some new words cloud kick fever cough awful2. T: The basic parts of a sentence are the subject (S), the verb (V) and the object (O) 3. Present Ss some sentences: The temperature drops. Discuss he structure of this sentence: S + V (Vi ) Introduce “S” : the subject (S) the verb(V) Introduce the verb: we divide verbs into three kinds,intransitive verbs (vi.) transitive verbs( vt.) and linking verbs (linking v.)Introduce “P” the predicative 学生学习一些新的单词学生理解句子的基本结构构成学生看句子，讨论所给句子的基本结构构成学生学习动词的分类学生学习表语
Step2 Practice1. Analyze the structure of the sentences (1) Farmers harvest crops. (2) Autumn leaves turn brown.2. Writing about the seasons Finish Part A3. Check the answers together 学生分析所给句子的结构构成学生完成书本练习学生一起核对答案
Step3 Presentation1. T: Introduce two objects: the direct object (DO) and theindirect object （IO）2.
