一、教学目标：
1. 语言知识目标：

能掌握以下句型：
① You could help to clean up the city parks.
② We should listen to them and care for them.
2) 能了解以下语法：
情态动词could, should的用法；用should或could提出建议并对别人的建议作出评价。如何表达主动提供帮助。

在授课过程中渗透助人就是助己，助人收获快乐的情感目标，使学生在谈论如何为别人提供帮助的对话中能意识到尽己所能，帮助他人，乐于奉献是一种良好的品德，培养学生为他人着想，热爱公益事业增强社会责任感培养环保意识的优秀品质。

1. 教学重点：
1) 掌握这些短语动词的构成和用法：clean up, city, cheer, cheer up, give out, volunteer, notice
2) 学会提供帮助的基本句型：

三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. Guessing game. Guess a word from four Letters. Put four letters in correct order.
2. A famous people who volunteer to help others, do you know who he is He is Lei Feng . Do you often help others Tell us something that you helped others with last time. And tell us what other ways you could help people.
Step 2 Presentation
1. learn the new words.
2. Learn many other ways you could help others. Pay attention to the key words and phrases.
3. Work on 1a, listen and number the ways the boy and the girl could help others. and then check the answer together.
Step 3 Listening practice
1. Watch a video and answer the questions. The name of this video is 2012 , it is about the earth was destroyed, and one of the main reason is the human activities. So we need to do something to protect our world.
2. A group of students are going to make a plan about the clean-up day to protect the city parks.
3. Work on 2a, A group of students are planning a City Park Clean-Up Day. Listen and check the things they are going to do to tell people about it. Then listen again and check the answers together.
4. Work on 2b, listen again and fill the blank , then check the answers.
Step 4 Pair work
1. Make a mind map using the information in 2a,2b. And make conversation by the mind map.
2. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
3. Have a detail learning about language points.
4. Watch the video, and tell students that many people still need our love and help. And learn a famous saying: The rose’s in her hand, the flavor in mine.
