一、教学目标:
1.语言知识目标:
①能正确流利地听说读写以下单词和短语: repair fix broken wheel fix up
give away take after run out of
② 会读、会写、能说、会用以下句型:
1).I’ve run out of it .
2).I gave away my bike to a children’s home.
3).Jimmy fixes up broken bicycle parts, like wheels.
4).Jimmy takes after his mother.
③ To learn the story of Jimmy
2.语言技能目标
通过听说读写,培养学生听力技能。
3.情感态度目标:
通过听力对话学习,鼓励学生关注社会,从身边的小事做起去帮助和善待他人。
二、教学重难点
掌握短语:run out of, take after, fix up, give away 的运用及听力技能提高。
三、教学过程
Step1.Greeting and review
1 Greeting.
2 Review the new words on Page 115 Page11-12 ..
Step 2. Lead-in
T: The boy is Jimmy. He is a Bike boy. What’s the matter with him /(Does he have money )
Ss: I think he has run out of his money.
T: Why Today let’s go to learn Unit Two Section B (1a-1e) and find out the reason.
Step 3.Learn new words
1. Ask some students to read new words.
2. Make a dictation about the new words or phrases.
Step 4.Play a game
Play a game and finish 1b and 1a
Step 5. Presentation
Look at the pictures in 1c and say something about them with the key words .
Eg:Look at
Picture a . Jimmy has run out of his money.
Picture b. He is fixing up the bike.
Picture c. He find a broken bike.
Picture d. I guess he gave away the bike to his friend.
Step 6.Listening
1 Listen to the tape and finish 1c.
2 Listen to the tape and finish 1d.
Step7. Practice and show
1 Ask the students to read the dialogue by themselves and understand the meaning.
2 Ss practice the dialogue and act out the dialogue.
3 综合运用并展示
(一)通过所给的英语提示,根据听力的材料,编写Jimmy的故事,并展示。
