Step Ⅲ presentation
1. Teach new words about animals.
2. Invite some students to come to the blackboard and choose some pictures , then students should do what they teacher says.
3. Section A1a
Match the description words and the animals.
Check the answers on the blackboard.
4. Listening
1b Listen and check the animals you hear in 1a.
(1) Play the conversation first time and invite students to give their answers.
Check their answers.
(2)Play the recording second time , listen and write the description words they used in 1a.
(3) Try to use the adjectives to describe the animals.
5. Teach new description words
Show students some picture and encourage them to use some words to describe the picture.
6. Section A 1c
Practice the conversation with your partner. Then make conversations about the other animals in 1a. Use the words in the box.
(1) Make similar conversations using the animals and the description words in 1c.
(2) Get students to work in pairs to talk about the animals they know.
(3)Ask several pairs to present their conversations to the class.
7. Riddle
Play ppt and ask students to think about what animal
it is.
8. Group work
Students should work in group and talk about what animals they like or dislike .Then a student of each group should do a report of their like or dislike.
