Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 New words and 2d
1. Show some pictures of the countryside and learn the new words
2. Show the following questions:
Where did Eric go lastweekend
Why did he go there
What did he do
How was the weather there
What did he do last night
How did Eric feel about the trip
3.Let the students read the dialogue and answer the questions . check the answers.
4.Ask them to read the dialogue in pairs and two pairs act it out.
Step 3 Grammar focus
Let the students read the sentences in the chart carefully.
让学生总结一般过去式的一般疑问句的结构、一般过去式特殊疑问句的结构、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的回答。
含有be 动词和含有实义动词的区别

1. Read these sentences and learn them by heart.
2. 观察动词的过去式的规则变化和不规则变化。
3. Learn the verbs by heart.
4. 提醒学生注意发音规律：清清，浊浊，元浊。

1. Ask the students to listen to go through the two letters to get the general idea.
2. show the following questions and let the students answer.

1. Read the two letters and fill in the blanks.
2. Check the answers.
3. Read the two letters again.
4. Underline the difficult points and learn them together.

Give them enough time to practice the sentences and let some students report their answers.
Make some comment on their sntences.
