Are your shirts made of cotton Yes, they are. And they were made in the US.

Where is tea produced in China It’s produced in many different areas.
How is tea produced Tea plants are grown on the sides of mountains. When the leaves are ready, they are picked by hand and then are sent for processing.
Active voice: People grow tea in Hangzhou. Passive voice: Tea is grown (by people) in Hangzhou.
定义:句子的主语为动作的承受者.
汉语中常用“被、给、由、受”等词用来表示被动,而英语的被动语态由“助动词(be)+及物动词的过去分词”构成.
被动语态
是重点哦
由于被动句中的主语即主动句中的宾语,因此,只有及物动词才有被动语态.如:
They will build a new bridge over the river.(主动)
A new bridge will be built over the river.(被动)
被动语态
时间 一般 进行 完成
现在 am/is/are asked 被问 am/is/are being asked 正在被问 have/has been asked
已经被问过
过去 was/were asked (过去)被问 was/were being asked (过去)正被问 had been asked
(过去)已被问过
将来 shall/will be asked 将要被问 含有情态动词:(may/can/must等)+ be done
注意!
1. 不知道动作的执行者是谁或者没有必要指出动作的执行者是谁时:This watch is made in China,More trees must be planted every year.2. 需要强调或突出动作的承受者时。如:Chinese is spoken by more and more people in the world.
3.感官系动词一般用主动形式表示被动意义
这些动词有feel, look, seem, taste, sound, remain等.
The stone feels very cold.石头摸起来很冷.
注意!
4.有些及物动词或动词短语不能用于被动语态
这些及物动词或动词短语有fit, have, marry, wish, cost, agree with, arrive at /in, shake hands with, succeed in, suffer from, happen to, take part in, belong to等.
e.g.Your story agrees with what had already been heard.你说的与我们听说的一致.
注意!
5.有些不及物动词组成短语后,也可构成被动语态
e.g.He was looked down upon because of his egoism.
他因自私而受人冷落.
6.有些动词既是及物动词又是不及物动词,当它们和well, badly, easily等副词连用时,表示主语内在品质或性能,是不及物动词,用主动表示被动,这时不用被动语态
常见的这类动词有write, read, clean, sell, wash, cook等.
e.g.The cloth washes easily.这布很好洗.
注意!
7.在主谓双宾语的结构中,每个宾语都可变为被动语态的主语,即其被动语态有两种形式。但多以间接宾语作主语。
Jack told us the truth. 杰克告诉了我们真相。
→We were told the truth by Jack.
→The truth was told to us by Jack.
注意:如果是直接宾语做主语的话,谓语动词的被动语态后要加to。
8.在宾语补足语的结构中,to也要还原。
I see him play basketball.
→He is seen to play basketball.
我们之前学的主动语态怎么变成刚刚我们学的被动语态呢?
主动变被动
第一步:将主动语态的宾语改为被动语态的主语;
Tom killed him.

第二步:将主动语态的谓语改为“be+及物动词的过去分词”结构;
第三步:将主动语态的主语改为介词by的宾语,放在谓语之后(有时可省略)。

4 They should do it at once.
5 They named the child Tom.
He is told not to waste time on fishing by his mother.
I am given a toy at Christmas by father.
