Plant a Tree as a Sign of Hope for a Better Future
Place: Daher’s Vineyard, Tent of Nations Farm
Dates: March 20-31, 2022
Sleeping place: Volunteers will sleep in tents at the farm campsite.
Project information: This project welcomes volunteers from all over the world. During the camp you will plant different kinds of trees and help us bring new life to the farm. A special program will be prepared for each day, which will include learning about the land situation, activities, movies and field trips to Bethlehem and other nearby places.
Weather (March): The weather is usually warm, windy with light rain and temperatures between 18℃-24℃. On the farm it is usually warm but windy during the day and gets cold in the evenings—around 10℃. In March, the weather is changeable, it can rain at any time but we can also enjoy a lot of sun. When it rains, the program will go on, we will arrange (安排) for tree planting on the drier days.
Fee (费用): 150 dollars. It covers food and different programs and activities. However, it doesn’t cover the field trips. Please see our website for more information about our running costs. Volunteers are expected to pay for their air tickets.
Food: Traditional American meals will be prepared for volunteers at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
